NHU Celebrates Drinking Water Week
New Holstein Utilities will celebrate Drinking Water Week from April 30 to May 7.
New Holstein Utilities has been providing a safe, reliable supply of water to residences and businesses in the City of New Holstein for decades. The community receives its water from three groundwater wells that are located throughout the city. The water is treated and distributed through an underground distribution system. These wells are monitored daily. The customers use between 250,000 to 300,00 gallons of water each day.
Customers who receive water service from NHU are invited to stop at our office at 2110 Washington Street to see some displays, gather information on how to efficiently use this precious natural resource, and sign up to win a door prize. We will be giving away a front load clothes washer and a water-saving toilet. Refreshments will also be available. Come join in the celebration!
