NHU and WPPI Energy Make Contributions to Grow Local Business
With a grant through WPPI Energy, New Holstein's wholesale electric provider, New Holstein Utilities recently donated $500 each to the New Holstein Economic Development Corporation and the New Holstein Chamber of Commerce.
New Holstein Utilities General Manager, Randy Jaeckels, presented the $500 check to Dan Schneider, NHEDC's President, at the October 26, 2011 NHEDC meeting. The donation will be used in efforts to bring new business growth to the New Holstein community.
New Holstein Chamber of Commerce President, Bob Bosma, made the announcement of the $500 donation at the Chamber's membership meeting on November 2, 2011. The money will be used to assist the NH Chamber in its efforts to promote and retain the existing local businesses.
The donations emphasize the commitment of New Holstein Utilities and WPPI Energy to assist in keeping our community and local businesses strong. New Holstein Utilities is proud to be a community-owned utility that has provided service to the New Holstein community for almost 100 years!
