NHU Presents Scholarships to High School Graduates
New Holstein Utilities and Wisconsin Public Power Inc. (WPPI) recently awarded their scholarships to the 2007 high school graduates. For the past several years NHU and WPPI, our wholesale power provider, has teamed up to provide area high school graduates with $500 scholarships. The utilites are pleased that we are able to support the development and the continuing education to area students. This year, three $500 scholarships were awarded.
The recipients of this year's scholarships were Kyle Baldwin, Lindsey Kuhn and Alicia Streiber. Kyle is the son of Brian and Jean Baldwin of rural Chilton. Kyle plans to attend the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design to study graphic arts and advertising. Lindsey is the daughter of Mark and Elisabeth Kuhn of rural New Holstein. Lindsey will attend Winona State University in Minnesota to study pre-veterinary medicine and biology. Alicia is the daughter of Dean and Jayne Meyer of New Holstein. She will pursue a degree in graphic communications at Moraine Park Technical College. All three students graduated from New Holstein High School.
Congratulations to all area high school students and best wishes for success as they begin a new journey in their lives!
