Involvement

Being part of the community we serve is a role that New Holstein Utilities takes seriously. As a utility, we work hard to be an active participant by lending a hand in community service projects and offering various educational programs. We have pledged a strong commitment to, not only our customers, but to our community. Through a number of civic-minded activities, New Holstein Utilities has fostered strong relationships that help further our connection to the community.

The following are just a few examples of our involvement in the community:

  • Using of our bucket truck, we hang ornaments made by local residents on the City Christmas tree on Country Christmas Sunday.
  • We participate in the Reality Check program for 8th grade students sponsored by the New Holstein Chamber of Commerce. The Reality Check program gives the students an opportunity to learn about life after school.
  • Our crews hang banners throughout the community to promote civic events.
  • We participate in the Mid-Shores Home Builders Association Home Show to keep our customers informed about the variety of programs and services that are offered.
  • Assist the city officials and business leaders with community development efforts.
